Smiz Announces Jabber Chat Services

Smiz now offers secure, private Jabber chat services.

Chat services play a large part in business collaboration. With secure, private chat services you can maintain better security and privacy while still working with your favorite chat software. (iChat, Fire, Trillian).

Chat Services Support Video and Audio Conferencing, secure file exchange, offline messages and much more avaialable upon request.

System Maintenance

One of our machines (dos.smiz.biz) is down for maintenance tonight between 7:00 PM and 12:00 AM.

This outage will cause many customers to be offline during the maintenance period. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

RE: Mail Server Performance

We are presently working on mail server performance issues related to spam and virus scanning.

Mail service may be off and on late evening and a bit over the week end.  We will update once the issue is resolved.

If anyone experiences more severe problems we encourage you to open a support ticket and we will tend to the issue.

Starting January 22nd we will be moving all of our customers into our new "Client Area" which you are in right now. Now you can reach technical support, billing and customer service staff 24-7. 

Improvements in services

Smiz is now has a new data line with even more redundancy. Smiz web services are now completely migrated over to our new data provider.
