| When a hosting account is setup on Smiz's system only a general email account is set-up for the account. This account is for the system's use only and should not be used by any person to send or receive email. To setup new email accounts login to your cPanel control panel and click on the "Mail" icon. From the "Mail Manager Main Menu" click " Add/Remove/Manage Accounts ". You should see:
Click on "[ Add Account ] " at the bottom. You should see:
If you have setup Add-on domains or sub-domains you can choose the domain name you wish to add the email account to. Enter your desired address into the E-mail field and provide a password. Quota: It is important to clear this field and leave it blank unless you want to limit the amount of data the email account is allowed to hold. If you set the Quota to 10mgb then a single email with a 10mgb attachment will max out the quota and prevent further emails from being delivered. Click "Create" when finished. You should see: "Account Created" with your account details below. Your new email account is ready for use! You're done. |
